Willliam C. Yelm

KEWANEE - William C. Yelm, 70, of Kewanee, died at 8:40 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the Kewanee Care Home. 

A visitation to celebrate his life will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 26 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Graveside services and inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27 at Pleasant View Cemetery in Kewanee with Rev. Martin Gutzmer officiating. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established. 

He was born January 7, 1953 in Kewanee the son of Marion and Genevieve (Stoner) Yelm. He is survived by his siblings; Terry (Vera) Yelm, Sandra Pollock and Bonnie Tuthill, all of Kewanee, as well as several nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Marion, Martin, and Judy.

William was a big fan of everything John Wayne, he enjoyed his movies and collecting his memorabilia. William was very proud of all of his family, especially his nieces. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
