Catching up with Kewanee news--I'm so saddened to learn of Mrs. Taylor's passing. My deepest condolences to the family. Mrs. Taylor was my 1st grade teacher, many moons ago. I'm guessing that was one of her first classrooms! There are many fond memories of Lyle School. I'm so sorry to learn she had cancer.
Warm & loving thoughts, & prayers too, for all of you.

Bill & Family -
We were so sorry to learn of Judy's passing. She is now with the Lord and on a new "journey". May that give you some peace during this difficult time. As you are aware, we are in Florida, so we will be unable attend Judy's memorial service. Please know that we are thinking of you all and keeping you lifted up in prayer. Don & Linda

Dear Taylor Family, I was so sad to hear of Judy's death. She was a wonderful friend and teaching associate. She was such a positive person and always ready to help in any way she was able. We had many happy times in the teachers' lounge and as we shared tales of our students.
You are in my thoughts and prayers! I hope your many happy memories will help you to navigate the days ahead.

She was a wonderful lady, Bill is a wonderful man, and you are all proof of what great parents they are.I will never forget the good time Fritz and I had painting your house. I'm not sure that we were ever able to completely finish it, we were always too wet.

Dear Erin and entire family, I have the fondest memories of your mother while growing up in Kewanee. She had the most kind gentle voice and way about her which made you feel very at ease and comfortable. I always had so much fun at our little girl sleepovers. I hope all the beautiful memories you all have of her comfort you at this time of sorrow.

Mrs. Taylor was my favorite teacher, and I was lucky to have her for Kindergarten and second grade. She helped me through some very rough times I didn't even know I was having until I looked back years later. She taught me to love learning and continued supporting me in the years after I left her classroom. She helped to shape the woman I am today, and I am blessed to have known her. She is missed, and the world is a little dimmer today without her light.
I pray for those she left behind to find comfort and peace in this time of loss. May God continue bless all those whose lives she touched.

We're very sorry to learn of Judy's passing, and the struggle she went through with her illness. We remember the 24 years we spent as neighbors, living across the street from Judy, Bill and their family. I coached one of their boys in wrestling at KHS and officiated at the marriage of one of their daughters. We visited a lot, and considered the Taylors to be very good friends. We extend our sympathy and best wishes to their children and grandchildren. Losing a mother is a very hard experience to go through, and we pray for God's support and sustenance during this difficult time.
