Kimberly S. McKeever

KEWANEE - Kimberly S. McKeever, 55, of Kewanee, died at 12:20 p.m., Monday, July 18, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 19 at Evergreen Memory Gardens in rural Kewanee. Rev. Bob Sherman will officiate. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

She was born October 3, 1960 in Geneseo, the daughter of Clifford J. and Verna J. (Fjeld) McKeever. Survivors include her mother of Kewanee and her nephew, Jason McKeever of Kewanee. She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Steven McKeever.

Kimberly graduated from Kewanee High School in 1978. She completed the Basic Nurse Assistant Training Program in 1983 and graduated from Commonwealth Business College in Moline in 1994 and then became a National Certified Medical Assistant in 2000. She was currently working at the Henry County Senior Citizens Center in Kewanee where she thoroughly enjoyed assisting the elderly. She had previously worked as a medical assistant at a medical office. She was avid sports fanatic, following the Chicago Bears and she had a love for animals, especially her dog, CeCe.
