Nancy F. Smith

KEWANEE - Nancy F. Smith, 85, of Kewanee, died at 10:15 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Kewanee Care Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 25 at the Second Baptist Church in Kewanee. Rev. Lawrence Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Second Baptist Church.

She was born December 28, 1929 in Alamo, TN, the daughter of Rev. A.W. and Nina (Klyce) Conley. Survivors inlcude her son, Cleverette (Beatrice) Conley Sr. of Kewanee, several children she raised, Cheryl Brown, Marty King and Russell Holmes, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Algie King, two brothers and two sisters.

Nancy was a homemaker and a member of the Pilgrim Baptist Church in Gary, IN.
