Riley J. Breyman

KEWANEE - Riley J. Breyman, 66, of Kewanee, died at 4:37 a.m., Thursday, September 22, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Private services will be held at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Cremation will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.

He was born May 20, 1950 in Red Bud, OH, the son of Ezra and Delores (Sutton) Breyman. He married Penny A. Charlett on April 26, 1997 in Kewanee. She survives of Kewanee, as do a son, Chris (Kim) Breyman of Morris, IL, a daughter, Amanda and her fiancé, Coby Kimbrell of Dyersberg, TN and five grandchildren, Blake, Taylor, Brycen, Breyden and Bella. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Riley worked as an inspector for Caterpillar until his retirement. He was a volunteer for the Rural Kewanee Fire Department where he enjoyed his fireman responsibilities. He had been a member of the former Kewanee Moose Lodge. He was an avid Chicago Bears and St. Louis Cardinals fan and also enjoyed woodworking and especially watching and following his grandchildren’s activities.
