I am so sorry to hear about Shirley's death. She was a very special lady. Not only did she fix all my clothes for me, she also was a neighbor and friend. She will be missed.

I am so very sorry to read this. Shirley has been on my mind the last few days, intending to stop by with a bag of "our" favorite candy ,orange slices,. I will miss our long conversations over alterations. Don't let the angels run you ragged with altering their gowns & wings.

The first time I met Shirley was to alter my wedding dress, she made me feel like the most beautiful bride since then I have had her alter pageant dresses for my daughter and numerous other odd and ends I would stop in just to say hi and she always had time. So sorry for your loss she was a wonderful soul that will be deeply missed by many.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Ms. Shirley on a personal level. She sure loved her coffee....two cups and hot! She definitely had a passion for sewing and it was fascinating watching her at her passion. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Ms. Shirley will be greatly missed!
