Beverly Warren

KEWANEE – Beverly Warren, 91, of Kewanee, died at 10:20 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Kewanee Care Home.

Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 24 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Elder Paul Schultz will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at Evergreen Memory Gardens in rural Kewanee at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses or to the Kewanee Animal Shelter.

She was born January 7, 1926 in Kewanee, the daughter of Arthur and Loretta (Lynd) Camp. She married William R. Warren on April 22, 1949 in Kewanee and he preceded her in death on November 16, 1998. Survivors include her brother, David (Terry) Camp of Alexis, IL, a brother-in-law, James Marshang of Arizona and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her son, James Warren and two sisters, Margaret Jean Blodgett and Sylvia Kay Marshang.

Beverly graduated from Kewanee High School in 1943 and had worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Floors Aglow, which was owned and operated by her son. She was a loyal member to the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was an avid reader, an excellent seamstress and loved her cats. She especially loved her family.
